Thanks Jane. It has been an incredibly busy week with not much time for me. I couldn’t sleep last evening so got up at midnight and stayed up until after 2 am. I enjoyed time reading, writing , dreaming and playing with my photos. Remarkably I woke up refreshed this morning and ready for church. I suppose the lack of sleep will hit me later today. Blessings
Hope you got your nap in Nancy and feel better soon. We have been so busy between the two son’s home improvement projects and busy at work that I don’t know whether we are coming or going. I am so thankful that we got a few days vacation in Michigan before this busy stretch.
Kind of you to say so Thomas. I’m not very poetic but enjoy playing with words occasionally especially when I am lacking sleep. It’s my way of putting myself to sleep sometimes if reading won’t do it for me. I felt like a little kid last evening staying up way past my bedtime.
Neat entry – thanks for sharing your thoughts – I appreciate that sleeplessness, but these past several days not at work, I’m resting sweetly. It’s wonderful not to think about having to get up and go to work!
Beautiful photo too – is that your lake?
Thank you Linda. I’m getting a bit tired of the sleeplessness lately. I’m used to hittling my bed exhausted and falling directly to sleep. Not so much lately. Still tired but can’t sleep and then back up to do it all over again. I’m so happy that you have some time off to go and explore. The photo is of a lake nearby Cedar Lake. It is just over the hill from where we live sandwiched between the two lakes.

Glad that you enjoyed yourself last night, Jeanne.
But don’t shortchange yourself on sleep too often.
I’ve been “under the weather” for a couple of weeks ~ energy ebbing and flowing.
I need a nap. Maybe I’ll snooze while “watching” football with BFF. 😉

I sure wish I could be that poetic when I can’t sleep at night. Hope you get your rest tonight.

I find those quiet hours of the wee morning refreshing; but you are right, it exacts a toll for the next day.
